Year 9 Ceramic trainers, and Olympic medals
Year 9 researched shoe designs and made a paper maquette in order to learn how to construct a shoe in clay. Clay slabs were made and the clay constructed with attention to joins and scoring. Year 8 Animal tiles in progress Looking at Rousseau an his compositions, Year 8 made drawings of plants and toy animals and took photos, then designed their own tiles, building up layers and adding details and textures. |

Year 9 Cubist paintings Using still life and researching Braque and Picasso's work, taking the techniques used and applying them to their own work. Emphasising structure and distortion of shapes through line, tone and colour.
