In this fantastic felt making workshop with Ursula, you will learn how recognise different types of bees, similar to those found in the delightful gardens at Coughton Court. ​

You will use merino wool fibres to create the shapes and colours of the bee and flowers, with the traditional method of wet feltmaking. By the end of the workshop, you will have a beautiful felted bee to take home and frame. Expect lots of fluffy wool, old towels, bubblewrap and plenty of soap! 


Suitable for children from ages 5 upwards.

At this relaxing felt making workshop you will learn how to create a beautiful flower using the resist method with wet felt making. Using soft Merino wool in gorgeous colours, you'll create a flower for a brooch or display. Take inspiration from the delightful gardens at Coughton. Create your favourite flower! Working with Ursula who is an experienced felt maker with over 25 years’ experience.

Land or seascape felt making workshop
In this feltmaking workshop with Ursula ,you will learn how to interpret an image using soft merino wool and the traditional method of wet feltmaking. You'll have the opportunity to create a fantastical version of a landscape from a photo or image with the option to experiment with heightened colours. Working with the vibrant colours and textures of merino wool is very therapeutic. Please do bring your own images for inspiration. By the end of the session, you will have a beautifully felted piece of artwork to frame or embellish. Expect lots of fluffy wool, old towels, bubblewrap and plenty of soap!
